I would like to share a testimony about we have today in our puppet show ministry. Thank God for His blessing and power! In the last three months we visited about 40 different orphanages, kindergartens, and schools. We shared with kids how Jesus can be in one's heart. Who is He for me?
Every time, we started our story with a question: "What do you have in your heart? Do you have some good things there or bad things?" And every time kids answered: "We have Jesus!" I pray that these words will be true in their lives. After our program some teachers said: "We are so thankful for this story because our kids need to know about God and how it's good for them. We think this is good for our lives too." Thank God for this testimony!
On June 1st, we had a program in a big market in Vinnitsa. There was a holiday for children (Children's Day) and a director invited our team to do a puppet show program for them. We take all of the resources that we have: puppets, games, gifts, and clowns. Everything was interesting for all of the people who were there. Our puppet team – OM missionary and Ruslan's family prepared many interesting things, but it was not as important as a story about God. We prayed before our program and asked God to give us good weather for this program because it was going to be outside. God blessed the entire program and just after we finished our program the rain began. Thank God!
After the holiday program, a woman asked me about our ministry. Then, she asked me to teach her children to play with puppets too. I promised her to do this next year. She was not the first person who asked me to teach their kids how to use puppets. I think God has a new ministry for me. If God blesses this, I will start new puppet teams next year in different schools or other places. I don't know yet where this will be, but I pray that God will give me His wisdom and show me what He has for me in the future. I understand it will be not easy to do this. Especially because these kids are not from Christian families or from a church. But, God loves them too and I want to share His love with them as well. Please pray about this new opportunity for me.
As you know already, I have a puppet team with little kids. Last month, they visited our OM home and we had a party for them. We played games, ate, shared, and prayed. Then, I went to their home and said goodbye until September. I thought it was only a fun time for them, but God worked with them at that time. After a few weeks, a girl, who is 9 years old, called me. She said – "When I am older, I will have a house near you and will be a missionary like you are. I want to tell other kids about Jesus." This was AMAZING news for me. She is only 9 years old , but she wants to do something for Jesus. I love her :-) I don't know, maybe some of the other kids also want to be a missionary in the future from orphanages, but I know that they are already missionaries when they share this message with others. Please pray for these kids!
